    Exercises to Get Rid of Stubborn Belly Fat and Abdominal Fat

    These days most people don\'t realize that the excess of abdominal fats not only looks ugly, but they are also in dangerous to health. Many scientific research shows that the excess amount of fat is dangerous, particularly the excess amount of abdominal fat. The excess amount of abdominal fat is called as belly fats. The surplus abdominal fat covers your abs from being visible and it develops a protruded belly. It also degrades one\'s self confidence of sporting themselves well in the public.

    There are two types of fats in your abdominal area and they are \"subcutaneous fat\" and \"visceral fat\". Both these fats are responsible for the beer belly like appearance that permanently gets deposited near the abdomen as thick layer of fluffy skins. These fats are not burnt up by our regular activities, so the best way to get rid of those fats is to practice some abdominal exercises that helps o reduce fats near the abdominal region by stimulating the metabolic process. Some simple and effective abdominal exercises are discussed below.

    1. Regular Crunch

    At the start of the exercise lay on the exercising mat with your hands near your hips. Now bring the knees closer together by lifting the legs up and place your hands behind the head for the support. Now by keeping your stomach tight just lift your head above the ground and stay on this position for about 10 to 15 seconds. Lower your head back almost to touch the ground. Repeat these movements at least for 10 to 15 times for 5 sets. While doing the regular crunch keep your bead straight to avoid bending and straining of the neck.

    2. Floor leg lift

    It is another very effective abdominal exercise that works your lower abs and the oblique muscles. Lie on the exercise mat with legs straight and place your hands near the hip. Now raise both your legs about 8 to 10 inches above the ground and hold in this position as long as you can and then lower your body to the starting position. In the whole exercise keep your abdominal muscles contracted and keep your lower back flat rested on the ground.

    Dieting is also one of the important factors to reduce belly fats. Most fitness experts agrees that a good and efficient combination of exercising routine and diet plan helps to reduce belly fats in a quicker and healthier way. A healthy diet means to supply proper nutrition to our body so that it can burn the required amount of calories to produce energy. Elimination of sugar and fats helps to curb the excess amount of fat stored in the body. Consumption of negative calorie foods like apple, cucumber is encouraged as it burns more calories than what many foods do. Dieting is practiced for the fact the abdomen also contains muscles that needs right amount of nutrients to burn more fats.
