Bathrooms can be a luxurious way to add a powerful dimension to your home. There is nothing wrong with showing off a little bit in your bathroom with modern chic fixtures. It may also help your home or apartment sell well. The first step in the design process is to define the new decorative style that we wish convey. In simplest terms we have the minimalist, classic, avant-garde and even ethnic styles. During this step of the process. You may want evaluate the space that you currently have. Dimensions of claw foot bathtubs vary but the typical size is about sixty inches long and thirty inches wide. The claw foot bathtub is freestanding and gives your bathroom a vintage look. This type of tub was popular decades ago and made its way back into today\'s bathroom with its sensual look and relaxing feel. Toilets have also underwent drastic changes which can add to the motif of your bathroom. Toilets today come in compact designs, with modern flares. The wall hung toilet is one of my favorites. This style of toilet has tank installed into the wall instead of visible tank like an ordinary toilet. The flush is usually mounted on the wall in button form. A wall hung toilet can save a great deal of space and very sleek looking. Proper knowledge of installation is must though. These can be tricky to install. When choosing a toilet try to choose a dual flush toilet. This type of toilet saves a lot of water and are just as easy to install as a regular toilet. Bathroom faucets also come in many different styles and finishes that complete any bathroom decor. Recently nickel and brushed chrome finishes have been very popular amongst consumers. But if you are going with a modern look I would suggest something shiny like silver chrome finish. However shinier faucets tend to show more dirt or fingerprints. Making them a little bit harder to maintain. When you to choose to update your bathroom make sure to check out the green available alternatives. Low flow products like shower heads and faucets are available in great styles. They may save you money in the long run and can also help sell your home.
